- Ensure your QR code follows this basic principle: darker colored dots are visible on the lighter colored background. The ideal contrast ratio is 4:1 for scannability.
- Check that the minimum printed out size is 2 x 2 cm. There is such a thing as a QR code being too small!
- Test printing the QR code on the intended material. Make sure the colors show up and aren't blurry.
- Scan, scan, scan! Try scanning the printed QR code yourself and have others try as well.
